Refund Policy
Overview
Our refund and returns policy is valid for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we regret to inform you that we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, the item you wish to return must meet the following criteria:
- It must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- The item must also be in its original packaging.
Please note that certain types of goods are exempt from being returned. These include:
- Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines.
- Intimate or sanitary goods.
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
Additionally, the following items are non-returnable:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
To initiate a return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are specific situations where only partial refunds are granted, as follows:
- Books with obvious signs of use
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the receipt of your returned item. We will also inform you whether your refund has been approved or rejected.
If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain number of days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund yet, please follow these steps:
- Check your bank account to confirm if the refund has been posted.
- Contact your credit card company, as there may be a delay before the refund is officially reflected.
- Reach out to your bank, as there might be some processing time involved in posting the refund.

Sale Items
Please note that only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please send us an email at sales@petaro.sg, and mail your item to the following address:

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and was shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will issue a refund to the gift giver, and they will be notified of the return.

You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. In the case of a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
The time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on your location. If you are returning a high-value item, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee the receipt of your returned item.
